Our Concept
Kusoma Tu is a Swahili phrase meaning “reading, period. ”Kusoma Tu works to improve literacy for children and adults who have weak literacy skills.
Kusoma Tu Foundation Trust was launched in 2009 following a conversation with a candidate waiting to begin her exams, who confessed that she couldn’t read or write.

Kusoma Tu is working with rural and nomadic communities across Kenya.
